Specialized Relocation HV Machinery:
This project was to undertake the complete electrical works required to remove a specialised induction bending machine supplied at high voltage from one factory and relocate elsewhere.
The requirements for this project were:
documentation of the existing machine in sufficient detail to enable all control cabling and functions to be reconnected in the new location,design, documentation, tenders for electrical services at new location - which included
high voltage supply, high voltage switchgear, substation design, earthing, protection, metering, and all associated cabling,construction supervision and commissioning.The project was undertaken at very short notice with the design and documentation and tender process completed in a little more than one week to allow the machinery to be relocated over an Easter holiday period.
